WHO IS MILTON J?

MILTON J is a multi-talented singer-songwriter based out of Frederick, MD. Inspired by a diverse range of musical genres, Milton J incorporates an eclectic sound that fuses rock, hip hop, pop and reggae. 

His musical influences range from Linkin Park to NAS, and he cites Sublime and Rage Against the Machine as inspirations for his blend of genres. Singing pop hooks to rapping complex rhyme schemes over melodic riffs, Milton J’s lyrics are often conscious & introspective, touching on life’s struggles around themes of personal growth, love, and the pursuit of happiness.

He was soon noticed by several prominent music producers, including Charlemagne (Jay Z, Mary J Blige), David Foral (of Dirty Heads), Jungle Josh, The Autos and Carter Reeves (of Surfer Girl/AER), who recognized his talent and began working with him to develop his unique sound. 

Thus, Milton J has been locked away in his home studio, stock-piling all new music with a goal to break out in 2024.
